Miranda has enjoyed nearly 20 years as a professional actress and performing artist on stages across North America. She has performed on Broadway singing at Carnegie Hall in Nou Goth Sonne Under Wode composed by Allan Bevan under the musical direction of Richard Sparks  (DCINY/ Khorikos Choir), and Off-Broadway in numerous productions including The Inferno (The Tank), Love, Medea (New York Theatre Workshop), Emmy Award winning playwright Seth Freeman’s MacSpin at the Pit Striker Mainstage Theatre, and Masha in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Gibney Dance Theatre). She received her MFA at the Actors Studio Drama School, and her BFA at the University of Toronto, Trinity College

On the screen, Miranda has played the leading role of “Tagi” in the Gemini award-winning web-series turned television show turned feature film Pure Pwnage, directed by Gemini-nominated creators Geoff Lapaire and Jarett Cale. The series has more than 3 million viewers worldwide and can be watched online on YoutubeVimeo, and Hulu. In 2016 the film  won “Best Feature Film” at the Canadian Comedy Awards. Other, recent film credits include roles in The Bout (1st Place Winner of the 2018 Moet Moment Festival/Tribeca Film Festival), multi award-winning Greater Good (Winner “Best Female Lead” at the Sick Chick Flicks Film Festival 2018)Darwin: The Series, Season 2 (starring Broadway's Karl Kenzler, and Celia Keenan-Bolger), Wild Nights With Emily (SXSW Official Selection), and Construction (two time award-winning film, directed by Breakout Kings star Malcolm Goodwin).

On the stage, Miranda has originated several roles including Drama Desk playwright Michael Bradley's Our Dark, Dark Place (Exquisite Corpse Theatre Company), In or Out (a site-specific performance piece with the box collective)Falcon and Sparrow (Treehouse Theatre), award-winning Good Shape (Robert Moss Theatre), and Deathscape (Theatre For A New City), as well as performing with Developing Artists. Miranda also performed regionally as “Constance” in King John at the Great River Shakespeare Festival, and the “Nurse” (understudying Tarah Flanagan) in Romeo and Juliet. Some favorite Canadian credits include “Philia” in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Forum (Rose Theatre), “Miss Whittington” in Not Now Darling (Drayton Entertainment), and “Caitlin O'Hare” in Over the River and Through the Woods (Rose Theatre).

Miranda also performs as a voice over artist and has worked with clients such as Atari (Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale)Showcase (Lost Girl: Motion Comic), and Audible (various audiobooks). She is new voice of the two main characters on Lornsword, and new game on XBox, and Playstation 4.
